Autumn in Central Park

 

October 25, 2012  A few days ago JJ and I had some free time so we headed to the city early and made our way to Central Park.  I came across the man on the left standing in meditation and viewing this pond and waterfall.  I asked for a photo.  He gave me my card so I could send him the photos.  Upon saying good bye, I said "See ya" which is a standard goodbye in my book because sometimes I do feel like we'll all see each other at some point again.  But then I thought - I probably won't see him.  Half hour later on our way to the Org, we stopped at Westerly Natural Market on 55th (54th?) and 8th and who walked in?  This dapper gentleman.  Postulates work.

Hello!  After being inspired by various blogs and bloggers recently, I decided to give it a whirl myself. 
Each month, after getting my 5 magazines in the mail (hey, half of those were free), I seriously have to resist the urge to go and buy whatever may be trending that season.  But, this is fall, the best season for fashion, and I did finally give in an add a few new pieces to my wardrobe from Joe Fresh.

apple picking at Wilkens Farm:  There are those certain fall activities we can't help but get into! After having a slightly bitter taste in our mouth after last years attempted apple harvest (we drove there to find out we could only buy bags of apples which turned out to be mealy anyway), we took it upon ourselves to open our hearts again to that which had once scorned us.
